But it turned out years later, namely in 2007, that checkers had been solved mathematically.
The famous computer program Chinook showed that in case two players played the perfect move every time, the game would inevitably end in a draw. Nevertheless, you can be sure that this has not affected people’s enthusiasm about the game. Right after that, the software revolution of the 1990s made Checkers available on personal computers in people’s homes.
